Hey everyone, I know a lot of people are looking for my CF manager for SlideShowPro (CFSSP) and just wanted to let everyone know that you can now find it at RIAForge at:
http://cfssp.riaforge.org/
I keep meaning to update the cfssp page with this information but as of yet have not done so. I hope to get to it soon.
thanks!

It really is amazing how many people are really interested in Open Source software. I wrote CFSSP a long time ago to fill a need for a manager for Todd Dominey's slideshowpro. I thought interest in it had died down and so I stopped developing on it, especially once Todd released his own manager for the program (although admittedly it is php) that was so much nicer than what I had written. So I let the project sit. But then I moved hosting servers which broke all my links to the cfssp files and man, you wouldn't believe the emails and questions I get of people trying to find it.
So, just so you all know, I have pushed the project to RIA forge. You can find it here:
http://cfssp.riaforge.org/. There are forums and the whole nine yards there, so enjoy!

I have used
Ray Camdens forum app called
Galleon to add forums to the
CF Manager for SlideShowPro demo. You can go there and get all the info and answer you need, or just shoot the breeze. Tell a friend.

I thought it would be worth mentioning a few things about my CF Manager for SlideShowPro. Aside from being
a great way to manage your albums and pictures in slideshowpro, and the great thing of handling all of the resizing of your images for you, there are some other parts that are equally great.
For instance, there is a user management/login component that it uses that runs completely off of xml. Although the API isn't really documented at the moment it wouldn't take much to figure it out. It could also be easily decoupled from the Manager and used in other projects.
This is one of the main reasons I made CF manager opensource. You are free to download it and adapt all or parts of it to your own needs. Already have a cms on your site and don't want your users to have to switch environments just for the slide show? You could disect it up and use the components you need in your own cms to get the job done.
So what are you waiting for?
Go and download it now.

Well its been a long time coming, and there is still more to go, but the first beta of the CF Manager for
Todd Dominey's Slide Show Pro Flash Component has been released. You can download it from
my docs page. Just remember, it is a beta. If and when you find a problem,
let me know. You can get the
installation instructions here. And you should really try out the
CF Manager Demo.
Hope you guys enjoy it.
