The nerd has based his career, maybe his life, on the computer, and as well see, this intimate relationship has altered his view of the world. He sees the world as a system which, given enough time and effort, is completely knowable. This is a fragile illusion that your nerd has adopted, but its a pleasant one that gets your nerd through the day.While I don't completely agree with the grim outlook he has for people in this "condition" (and I am firmly in that bucket), I find this article a little creepy like maybe he has been watching me or something. I think a lot of you might feel the same way. He has several links throughout the post to other articles, check them all out, trust me, its worth it.
