Original story here. Great news! In 2-3 years we will be able to power our laptops with a battery that never runs dry! No plugging in at all.
Of course the saying goes that if its too good to be true and all of that, but man wouldn't this be nice? With wireless so ubiquitous at this point, it would be great to never have to worry about power again.
Then we have our conflicting opinions, story here. This guy says they have the math all wrong and that its going to be hotter than a light bulb and horribly inefficient and all that.
Here's hoping he's wrong. By the way, where is my jetpack and flying car keys...
Story here. This is just incredible to me. She has to be on some serious meds if she thinks she has a chance to win at this.
Several people since the price cut have asked me if I am upset about it. When I got my iPhone, I said that I loved it so much that I would have paid more for it than what I did. That's still true, so how can I get mad that I could have gotten it cheaper if I waited? It would have just meant that I would have gone longer through life without the convenience it offers me. I'm just happy others have the chance to get it at a lower price point.
Its the same with the planned price cut to flex 2/3. Companies have the right to lower their prices, most of the time we beg for it! More power to them and we are going to reap the benefit of more people using the product!
